Y’all know I love a good unboxing, and this one? This one had me hyped for weeks! Back in February, I placed my order with MSCHF for the Big Black Boots and their infamous Blurry Money. I just knew I had to get my hands on them; nine months later, the package finally landed at my door, and let me tell you; it did not disappoint!
Big Black Boots: A Statement Piece or Nah?
First up, the boots. If you thought the Big Red Boots were a statement, just wait until I style these. MSCHF came through with an all-black version that screams high-fashion streetwear meets cartoon reality. They’re bold, they’re futuristic, and they’re definitely turning heads. But let’s talk about the fit; because I should’ve sized up. I wear a size 9 naturally, so I went with a 9, thinking they’d be just right. Wrong. They fit a little snug, and while I can still rock with them, I’d definitely recommend going at least one size up if you’re thinking about copping a pair. Lesson learned! But best believe I’m still gonna style them right; tight or not, the fits are coming.
Blurry Money: Art or Cash?
Next, let’s talk about the Blurry Money. This might be one of the craziest flexes in modern art. It looks like real cash but blurred like a glitched-out Instagram filter. MSCHF really knows how to mess with perception and reality, and I’m here for it. The best part? I can’t wait to find the perfect place to display it in my space. Whether it’s on my coffee table, bookshelf, or in a frame on the wall—it’s definitely a conversation starter.
Would I Buy Them Again?
Absolutely. The creativity and boldness that MSCHF brings to the game keep me coming back. Even with the sizing issue on the boots, I have no regrets, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.
